Greetings, Pioneer Students, Families, Community!
The 2024-25 school year is almost here, and excitement is in the air. I’m honored to join the Pioneer family as the new principal at East Ridge Middle School. Our wonderfully diverse school is built on the four pillars of engaging, relating, motivating, and serving every child in the school building.
From academics to athletics, our goal is for our students at ERMS will be engaged year-round. Our teachers at ERMS will continue to go above and beyond to reach our students through best practices, tutoring, clubs, and coaching. Through and through, our staff bends backward to make the student's middle school experience the best possible. As a school, we will continue to model the “Pioneer Way,” teaching our students to be Respectful, Responsible, Resilient, and Ready!
Reflecting on my appointment, I’ve been blessed throughout my educational career with countless teachers and staff members who have shown compassion and supported me while creating a challenging setting. My career goal has been to mirror that caring and rigorous learning environment in which students and staff feel safe, supported, and challenged. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity I had at my previous school, East Lake Academy, to work with such dedicated teachers, leaders, and staff members. I’m excited to begin building relationships with our students, staff, and the East Ridge community.
I am truly thrilled about the school year and proud to serve as the principal at East Ridge Middle School.

El año escolar 2024-25 ya casi está aquí y la emoción se respira en el aire. Es un honor para mí unirme a la familia Pioneer como nuevo director de la Escuela Intermedia Cresta Este. Nuestra escuela maravillosamente diversa se basa en los cuatro pilares de involucrar, relacionar, motivar y servir a todos los niños en el edificio escolar.
Desde lo académico hasta el atletismo, nuestro objetivo es que nuestros estudiantes de ERMS participen durante todo el año. Nuestros maestros en ERMS continuarán haciendo todo lo posible para llegar a nuestros estudiantes a través de las mejores prácticas, tutorías, clubes y entrenamiento. De principio a fin, nuestro personal hace todo lo posible para que la experiencia del estudiante en la escuela intermedia sea la mejor posible. Como escuela, continuaremos modelando el “Camino Pionero”, enseñando a nuestros estudiantes a ser Respetuosos, Responsables, Resilientes y Listos.
Al reflexionar sobre mi nombramiento, a lo largo de mi carrera educativa he sido bendecido con innumerables maestros y miembros del personal que han mostrado compasión y me han apoyado mientras creaban un entorno desafiante. Mi objetivo profesional ha sido reflejar ese entorno de aprendizaje riguroso y afectuoso en el que los estudiantes y el personal se sienten seguros, apoyados y desafiados. Estoy profundamente agradecido por la oportunidad que tuve en mi escuela anterior, East Lake Academy, de trabajar con maestros, líderes y miembros del personal tan dedicados. Estoy emocionado de comenzar a construir relaciones con nuestros estudiantes, personal y la comunidad de East Ridge.
Estoy realmente entusiasmado con el año escolar y orgulloso de servir como director de la Escuela Intermedia Cresta Este.
